Our Commitment

We will seek to ensure, through our leadership and commitment to mitigating risks, the health and safety of people who may be affected by our business activities. We will meet our statutory duties and comply with non-statutory requirements to which we subscribe. We will strive to create and continuously improve our safety, health, environmental and quality (SHEQ) culture by, so far as reasonably practicable;

  •       Complying with all applicable legislation, regulation, standards and protocols.

  •       Engaging and listening to our communities and customers to meet compliance obligations with consideration of the needs and expectations of our customers, and limiting our impact on them from our activities.

  •       Seeking to ensure that those that work with and for us are aware of their responsibilities, particularly for their own health and safety and their actions which may affect the safety of others, as well as delivering our SHEQ objectives.

  •       Identifying hazards and associated risks for our managed activities and ensuring there are arrangements in place to manage controls to reduce them such that they are as low as reasonably practicable in order to prevent injury or ill health.

  •       Seeking to ensure that the work activity areas are safe, where potential work-related risks are avoided, mitigated or minimised, with the use of safe plant and equipment, incorporating safe methods/systems of working. This may simply consist of an assessment of a customer's own premises and carrying out due diligence in respect of the people that work with us and the equipment that is used for the work activities.

Xorvex recognises that our activities may have an impact on the environment. We are therefore committed to continuous improvement in environmental management and to minimise any negative impact on the environment. We will seek to procure or use, wherever reasonably practicable, energy efficient products and services.

Xorvex is committed to consistently providing services that meet, or where possible, exceed the expectations of our stakeholders, including our customers and local communities.

Our Objectives

We will regularly set objectives to measure our progress of continuous improvement in meeting our commitments and we will seek to ensure that we provide the necessary information and facilitate the use of necessary resources to achieve these commitments.

This includes ensuring that any health and safety or environmental incidents, permit breaches and substantiated complaints are reported and actions identified as required, to build strong relationships with our customers to produce flexible and innovative solutions, and to improve awareness of any health and safety, environmental or other regulatory obligations across our business and that of our customers, as appropriate.

We commit to reviewing and revising this policy statement at regular intervals to ensure it remains representative of Xorvex's activities. All parties that work for us and with us (including contractors) are accountable for the performance of their activities in compliance with applicable legislation and with this policy statement.
